Forest Frost NOTD

I picked up Revlon Emerald City at Target for $1.97! I know right super cheap. I love Target Clearance isles so much! The color is a forest green and it has very fine sparkle in it. I was shocked a little when I saw the color after I applied it on my nails. It was matte when it dried and left streaks with one coat. After I applied two coats it looked so much better and I even liked the mate effect. I did apply base coat (Beauty Secrets) and a top coat for a shiny effect. I was realty inspired to do a Christmas themed nails and grabbed my Milani Holographic nail polish and applied it on the tips. I didn't worry about making it neat because I added extra sparkle with Wet n Wild clear larger sparkles (kaleidoscope). I let it dry for a second and then applied a top coat (Seche Vite). I was worried it wouldn't dry completely for the whole day, but I tested it after 10 minutes and to my surprise it was dry!! today is day 3 and it still didn't chip till I started to put the ornaments on the tree and even then only one nail started to chip on the side. I love how it looks like frost on my nails. I think its an amazing combo for Christmas, now that only two weeks is left!!

Talking about Christmas I Have an Update for you guys I finally got out Christmas tree decorated and even the wreath! I'm a little interested to see what the cats are going to do when were sleeping, they have been good so far but one of them (Sammy) is notorious for biting cords so I'm a little worried. Any advice on how to break his habit?
Don't you guys love Santa?
He's my favorite besides the sparkly green ornament!!
Have you guys tried this color? Whats on your nails now that its two weeks till Christmas?

XOXO,
Sarah

Passion Peel Off

Hey Dolls :D

So today I finally got to doing a face peel and I loved it. It's called Pulped Pomegranate Passion Peel Off by Montagne Jeunesse (I got it from Fred Meyer). It is made from organic material which is awesome. It smelled like passion fruit and then you can smell the pomegranate (made my mouth water). I don't blame the package for saying not to eat it hahaha. Another thing I loved about it, besides how amazing my skin felt when I peeled it off, is it's made cruelty free! The texture of it was very smooth and gel like, it was a little more liquidy than I expected but it dried and peeled off completely. The color was a surprise to me I thought it was going to be purple like the package, but it was more transparent red. I was a little scared because I didn't want my face to be red after I take it off; that wasn't the case at all. I put it on after I got out of the shower, I dried my face completely, and then I applied the whole content on my face. I let it sit on my face for a little longer than the package says. It started to feel a little tingly at first but nothing out of my comfort zone. It dried up and started to feel tight on my skin (my mouth froze haha) and when I peeled it off it felt like all my dead skin came off. I rinsed off with warm water and applied some Olay face lotion. I don't even know where to start telling you how my skin felt, SO FRESHHH!! I want to invest in more products like this!!

Have you guys tried this? Or any products like this? How do you feel about the quality of them? Are you guys interested in readin more reviews about products like this?

Sarah

Christmas Journey

So Christmas is around the corner and I can't even explain to you how EXITED I am for it!! My hubbies fam and I went and got Christmas tree!! I love how they go and pick out the tree and cut it down it's so special!! We ended up finding the perfect one (; It's up and all decorated!! My place on the other hand not so much we have the ornaments and lights but no tree yet. The boys want sports theme tree, I'm just debating if I want to put rainbow lights or plain, what do you think? I did end up putting some snow-flakes up and two stockings, hehe. My hubby and I are planning making ours sometime soon (hopefully we get to it before Christmas is over, ahh). This year went by so quickly, it feels like time flew by in a heart beat. I'll leave you guys with some picture to look at and I'll update when we get our tree and decorate it (:

Christmas is going to be sports theme, the boys win this year...
They wait and see next year...
Hehehe
Do you guys ever take decorations and ornaments and instead of putting them on the tree hang them from the ceiling? It's really fun I like doing that a lot!! What have you guys done so far? Am I the only one so behind?

XOXO,
Sarah

OOTD + Makeup (:

Hello lovely ladies!

How was your weekend? Mine was good, I finally got to spend a whole day with my love. We ended up going to Seattle's Premium Outlet to return pants I got Tory from Perry Ellis. It was freezing, so I wore cozy outfit (: On the other hand today is a cramping-sit-on-the-couch-infront-of-the-fireplace-listen-to-music kind of day (ahh).

What I had on:
1. NorthFace Jacket in White (w/ hoodie)- Nordstrom
2. Red Spaghetti Strap TankTop - WetSeal
3. Chris & Carol Top - Ross
4. Grey Leggings - My Amazing Friend Jen Gave Me
5. Steve Madden 'Missyy' Boots - Nordstrom

I Love the details on the shirt and the leggings, here's a closer look:

I had to pick up new makeup from the Fred Meyer and Walgreen's because an unfortunate event happened and my nice makeup ended up getting hi-jacked :( Sucks that I actually packed my makeup bag with everything nice I owed that day too.. I ended up trying new drugstore makeup, and I actually am liking the combination! I miss my Sigma brushes so much :( Natalie got me hooked on mine, and now I'm brush less. I did end up grabbing some EcoTool brushes and I like them (a lot actually) but I didn't find any flat top kabuki or the white tip one to apply liquid foundation with.

Makeup I Used:

Face
L'OREAL True Match Concealer in N4-5 (5)
Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Powder Foundation SPF 20 in Honey Beige (9)
Maybelline Fit Me Bronzer in Golden Tan (8)
ELF Bronzer in Warm Tan (4)
Eyes
Wet N Wild Color Icon in Vanity (2)
MAC Smolder Eye Kohl (3)
L'OREAL Carbon Black Telescopic (11)
NYX Jumbo Pens in Milk (12)
Maybelline Mascara The Falsies Volum' Express (7)

Lips
Maybelline Lipstick in 015 Born With It (10)

For my hair I used my Amika straightener (I got at a kiosk in Bellis Fair Mall)  and curled the front of my hair only and left the back straight. I'm LOVING that look at the moment!!
That sums it up (:

Have you guys tried any of these products, what do you think of them? Any of them you already use for everyday look?

XOXO,
Sarah
